Are you balancing or juggling life?

Balance is a state of equal distribution, which requires a strong foundation, focus to center, and strength to hold and or adjust against gravity. 

 

Start from the ground up, the broader the base you have to draw from, the greater the chances of withstanding the forces, internal or external.

 

In Christ.. he is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold, I shall not be shaken. Psalm 62:2

 

In tree pose, ground the foot, spread the toes, shift your weight, draw into the midline and up through the crown of the head. Set the opposite foot above your ankle or place on your inner thigh, not on the knee joint. Press the leg into the foot, and the foot into the leg, open the bent knee, square the hips. Hands in prayer at heart center or extend them in praise overhead. Great is our God!

 

When you're able to give appropriate attention to your body, mind, spirit, relationship, job, or ministry, you'll feel more calm and composed. Notice I didn't say equal time, I said appropriate time. Balance is about evenness, but it's also about shifting the influence from one side to the other to create stability. Fix your eyes on Him so you know when to adjust to His will over yours.
